I haven't blogged in awhile. I think my life is pretty boring. Since my last post, my towboater came home for a 7 day break after being gone for 35 days. The time flew by and he left last night to return to work. He will be home again in 2 weeks and we will celebrate the kids birthdays!
"Beans" is growing like a weed and turns 4 in May. He has jump from a 3T to a 4/5 in little boys. He needs new shoes and I am enjoying seeing my first born become a kid. He loves the song "Allstar" by Smash Mouth and can sing all the words. He loves to play cars, write his name and draw people. He is mostly the typical little boy because of his love for dirt and running. He has lots of friends at school and we will attend our 2nd birthday party on Saturday. Beans is definately growing up.
"Nella" is about the same size. She was a fat baby (born weighing 8lbs 10oz) but has slimmed up. She is still wearing the same size as she was last summer. She will be 2 in May and it is sad to see that all my babies are growing up. She loves to talk and has started calling names when you get on to her (she learned that from her brother). She loves all things babies, barbie, or princess. She no longer has a pappy (pacifier) because we gave that up about a week ago. She is soon going to be potty trained and loves her Hello Kitty Panties. Nella is full of life and loves to torment her bubba. She knows her full name and all of our names.
While towboater was home we went and visit his family in Louisiana. We met our new nephew "GW" for the first time and he is so Handsome. He has the prettiest blue eyes and blonde hair. We had fun catching up with everyone and playing with the kiddos. We came home Sunday and spent the day with the Davis' at our house. We always have fun with them! They are our closest friends.
Well, that is all that has been going on. I'm taking the kiddos to 31 cent scoop night at Baskin Robbins and then home we go. I am so glad this week is going by fast.
With Love,
Keli
**I read lots of blogs and pray for those in need. I would ask you if you come across me to pray for The Gatlin Family. Troy and his wife Katy ( my friend since the 2nd grade) really could use the prayers. Here is a link to his sisters blog for updates. May GOD give them peace and guidance and may they ALWAYS know that HE is with them.
**Check out Stellan!! He is finally home! Praise GOD!!
**Read Angie's post about her trip with Compassion.
