Gator Country...

Anticipating Rob going to school the begining of March, we are trying not to spend muuch money. All bets were to clean the house on Saturday and maybe take the kiddos to the park. Well about 9:30, I begin to look online for us things to do. We thought about the zoo in Houston and really wished the Fire Museum was open on the weekend. We decided to go visit Gator Country. It's between Beaumont and Winnie and it was fun. First off, I had 1/2 off coupons that got us in for about $9.00. We bought some weinnies to feed to the gators and went on our way. Beans was alittle scared of them, and really just wanted to look at them from afar. MoNella loved them! She was running around saying "aligator". We looked at everything and then headed over to the gift shop. They both got a squeaking aligator and t-shirt.

After that we went and saw the show. They bring out the baby aligators and crocidiles. MoNella and Daddy got to hold the baby aligator. Chubs, the baby, was born with a broken jaw and can't close its mouth. It chews w/ the back of its mouth and can't bite. Towboater, Beans, & MoNella also held a snake. I, on the other hand, set back and took pictures. Hopefully, I will be able to put them up sometime this week. After the show, we went and ate at the resturant. The food was good, and they had a playground for the kiddos. We are going back next weekend because they are going to have some special animals there.

It was way more fun then cleaning house....to bad my house is still a mess.

Until..
